Elma was a sailor aboard the Dowager Queen but signed on with the Quipper when she learned that her only other option was to be left ashore in Ilizmagorti.

Elma has requested a stint on land.

She was one of ten crew members selected to stay with the Quipper when Sandara took command of the Truewind. She is currently part of the permanent staff on the Island of Empty Eyes.
